How To Create An Asset Without A Device

Even without a digital device attached, every asset is a valuable part of your operation. Connect Intelligent Cloud allows for the inclusion of such assets to keep your inventory comprehensive. Follow these easy steps to add an asset without a device to your fleet:

1. Navigate to the Explore Page:

• Begin by visiting the 'Explore' page found on the main menu. This is the starting point for managing your fleet's assets.

2. Initiate Asset Creation:

• Look for the '+CREATE ASSET' button. This is how to add new assets to your system.

3. Enter the Asset Details:

• Upon clicking '+CREATE ASSET', a 'Create Asset' dialogue box will appear. 
• Input the name of your asset in the 'Asset Name' field. Then, from the 'Asset Type' dropdown, select the appropriate category that best describes your asset.

4. Save Your New Asset:

• Confirm the details and click 'CREATE' to save your new asset to the system.

5. Viewing Your Asset in the List:

• The new asset will now be listed on the 'Explore' page. To locate it quickly in the future, apply the filter “not digitized” in your search criteria.
