Triggers in Connect Intelligent Cloud are an essential tool for proactive fleet management. They allow you to automate alerts based on specific conditions.
Customizing a Trigger
1. Navigate to the Triggers Page:
Select "Triggers" from the main menu. Browse the list of triggers, or use the search bar to find the trigger you wish to edit.
Once you've identified the correct trigger, click "DETAILS" to enter the Trigger page.
2. Customize Trigger Details and Conditions:
From the Trigger details page, you will be able to set the importance of the trigger by choosing Severity Level to separate and filter events by priority (Information, Warning, Alert).
Under the Scope section, select whether to apply the trigger to your entire fleet or a specific asset or group.
Set “all” or “any” as a rule under Conditions
-
- The rule “All” means that an event is created when all of the set conditions happen
- The rule “Any” means that an event is created when one of the set conditions happens
- With +ADD CONDITIONS, you can set more than just one condition
Choose to receive the trigger information via e-mail or desktop notification in Actions
