Follow the steps below to pair your container asset with the Nexxiot Mounting App.
1. Pre-Requisites:
- Ensure you have an Android or iOS smartphone.
- Enable the Near Field Communication (NFC) scanning feature on your phone.
- Enable location services for the application.
🧠 FYI: NFC is a set of communication protocols that enable two electronic devices, one of which is usually a portable device such as a smartphone, to communicate when they are within proximity (usually 4 cm or less).
2. Install the Nexxiot Mounting App
Navigate to the Google Play Store on your Android Phone or the App Store on your iOS device. Search and download the Nexxiot Mounting App.
3. Login to the Nexxiot Mounting App:
Launch the application on your device and enter your Nexxiot credentials, and log in. If you are unsure about your credentials, contact your Connect Intelligent Cloud admin or the Nexxiot Support Team.
4. Begin the Pairing Process:
On the home screen, select the type of asset you would like to pair using the Nexxiot Mounting App.
- Select "Container" to pair your container asset.
🧠 FYI: Depending on your access privileges, you might find different asset options on the home screen.
5. Follow The Steps in the Nexxiot Mounting App:
6. Capture Photos of the Mounting Location:
One of the steps asks you to take three photos of the mounting location. During this step, your phone's camera will activate, prompting you to capture the Globehopper's mounting location.
- Ensure the device is clearly visible in the shot.
- Press "CONTINUE" if you are satisfied with the photo. If you'd like to try again, tap "RETAKE PHOTO."
7. Verify the Mounting Data:
Review and ensure all details are accurate in the Nexxiot Mounting App, and then press "CONFIRM" to finalize the mounting process.
8. Take Note of the Mounting Confirmation:
Once you complete the required steps, a dialogue window will pop up, letting you know the successful pairing of your asset.
